Microneedling

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure for your skin. Your healthcare provider uses thin needles to make tiny holes in the top layer of your skin. The damage helps stimulate your skin's healing process, so it produces more collagen and elastin. These proteins keep your skin firm and smooth

How does it work?

Microneedling RF uses tiny needles and radiofrequency waves to rejuvenate skin. The needles work as a form of controlled skin injury, resulting in the production of new, healthier skin cells. RF waves gently heat skin cells, stimulating them to produce more collagen and elastin.

Where can I use microneedling ?

The treatment can be used for both the face and body.

How soon will I see results?

Results can be seen from the first session, improving over the next couple of weeks. A course of 4-6 treatments, 2-4 weeks apart, are recommended, followed by once-monthly sessions for maintenance.

What is the recovery time?

After the treatment, it is possible to observe a slight degree of increased blood flow that usually lasts 30-60 minutes. Following the treatment, a hyaluronic acid film is applied to protect the treated area and speed the healing time. It is recommended to keep the film on for a few hours. It can take a few days for your skin to heal post-procedure. It is important to avoid solar or lamp exposition for at least 7 days after each treatment and to protect the treated area with SPF.

Is it painful?

Numbing cream is applied before the treatment to make it more comfortable.
